গুগল কয়েক মাস আগেই থার্ড পার্টি অ্যাপ থেকে অ্যান্ড্রয়েড ফোনে কল রেকর্ডিং নিষিদ্ধ করেছে। এর ফলে আর কোনো অ্যাপ ব্যবহার করেই ফোনে কল রেকর্ড করা যাচ্ছে না। এই কারণে ফোনে বিল্ট ইন কল রেকর্ডার থেকেই এই ফিচার ব্যবহার করতে হচ্ছে।

কিন্তু অনেক সময় এমন হয় যে ফোনের অপর প্রান্তের ব্যক্তি না জানিয়ে কল রেকর্ড শুরু করে দেয়। তবে এখন কল রেকর্ডিং শুরু হলে তা খুব সহজেই জেনে যাওয়া সম্ভব।

আগে থার্ড পার্টি অ্যাপ ব্যবহার করে কল ফোনে অপর প্রান্তে কল রেকর্ডিং শুরু হলে জানার কোনো উপায় ছিল না। কিন্তু Google Dialer-এর মাধ্যমে কল রেকর্ডিংয়ে যুক্ত হয়েছে নতুন সুরক্ষা ফিচার। এখন কল রেকর্ডিং শুরু হলে কল ফোন কলে সতর্ক করে Google Dialer। যদিও পুরনো Android ফোনে এখনও Google Dialer ছাড়াই কল রেকর্ডিং সম্ভব। থার্ড পার্টি অ্যাপ ছাড়াও অনেক ফোনের ইন বিল্ট ডায়ালারে রয়েছে কল রেকর্ডিং ফিচার। সেই সব ফোন থেকে কল রেকর্ডিং শুরু হলে এখনও ফোনের অপর প্রান্ত থেকে জানা সম্ভব নয়। অনেক দেশেই কল রেকর্ডিংকে আইনত নিষিদ্ধ ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। এই কারণেই সব ফোন প্রস্তুতকারী সংস্থা নিজেদের ডায়ালার থেকে কল রেকর্ডিং ফিচার বাদ দিয়ে Google Dialer ব্যবহার শুরু করেছে।

কিছু ফোনে কল রেকর্ডিং চললে ফোন কলের মধ্যেই বিপ শব্দ শোনা যায়। আর এই কারণে আপনার কল রেকর্ড হচ্ছে কি না তা বোঝার জন্য কথা বলার সময় সতর্ক হতে হবে। ফোনে মধ্যে একটানা বিপ শব্দ শুনতে পেলে বুঝবেন আপনার কল রেকর্ড হচ্ছে। তবে নতুন সব ফোনেই কল রেকর্ড শুরু হলে কলের মধ্যে সতর্কবার্তা দেওয়া হয়। যা শুনতে পেলে আপনি খুব সহজেই বুঝে যাবেন যে আপনার কল রেকর্ড করা হচ্ছে। চলতি বছর মে থেকেই Android ফোনে Call Recording বন্ধ করেছে Google। Google Play Store এর পলিসি-তে বদলের ফলে এই পরিবর্তন করা হয়েছে। যার ফলে নতুন ফোনে শুধুমাত্র Google Dialer অ্যাপের মাধ্যমেই কল রেকর্ড করা সম্ভব। অন্য কোনও অ্যাপের মাধ্যমে আর কল রেকর্ডিং সম্ভব হচ্ছে না। যদিও পুরনো ফোনের ক্ষেত্রে এই নিয়ম প্রযোজ্য নয়।

When you hear that, you can easily understand that your call is being recorded. Google has stopped call recording on Android phones since May this year.This change is due to a change in Google Play Store policy. As a result, calls can only be recorded through the Google Dialer app on the new phone. Call recording is no longer possible through any other app. However, this rule does not apply to older phones.
